I’m Geraldine, the owner of this apartment-showroom dedicated to the chic, modern and laidback bride.
I’ve conceived it - with passion - as an integrated whole, gathering a unique selection of wedding gowns from Belgian and International designers.
Driven by my love for fashion, I wanted to build this "bridal couture" concept in my hometown, in the heart of Belgium. Because, trust me, "girls with style" can also be found in the outskirts of the big international cities.
I just fell in love with the designers I carry. I’ve selected for you strong and couture designs, upcoming bridal designers and also brought to Belgium some of the most attractive international brands (often in exclusivity).
They reflect my tastes, my style, my willingness to turn you into your unique own while helping you thinking outside the box.
I welcome you - on appointment only - in a cosy and intimate environment to help you find "the one". As a bridal advisor since a few years now, I will offer guidance while taking your tastes and envy into account.
The experience will start as you walk through the door… my enthusiasm is contagious and our discussions in French, English or Dutch will instantly make you at ease.
So no more excuses… book your appointment !
Melody Nelson, this bridal concept, which finds its source in the iconic Serge Gainsbourg’s album "Histoire de Melody Nelson" (1971) and specifically in its flagship song "La Ballade de Melody Nelson".
In my view, Melody Nelson represents the elusive, wild and free woman-child subtly incarnated by Gainsbourg’s muse, Jane Birkin.
This seventies and unconventional vibe has inspired the whole concept, the gowns and accessories’ selection as well as my approach of this bridal industry.
"Ça c'est l'histoire de Melody Nelson
Qu'à part moi-même personne
N'a jamais pris dans ses bras
Ça vous étonne
Mais c'est comme ça"…
From "La Ballade de Melody Nelson"
Serge Gainsbourg, 1971
